Chapter 9

Selene's POV

My eyes widened when I saw what time it was.

"6:00 pm? oh sh*t? I'm already late." I said it nervously before standing up and looking for the nurse.

But then I didn't see anyone. I tried to go to the hallway, but I didn't see anyone else either.

Sh*t.

Why didn't the nurse or Haruki wake me up?

I bit my fingernails as I cried and went up to the classroom to get my bag.

"Let's go, Haruki! You didn't wake me up in the clinic." I stopped complaining when I saw a man standing near the window.

Woah.  I thought I was alone.

I swallowed before entering the classroom and then slowly approached that person.

"Um.. hello?" I called for his attention.

When it turned around, my eyes widened quickly, and I couldn't speak immediately.
