Chapter 8

Selene's POV

I entered school with a floating mind. Maybe because I was awake and not getting enough sleep.

Or maybe because of my problems, just like the elders.

"Selene!"  I stopped walking when I heard my name.

I quickly turned around. "Jane!" I called her, smiling.

"Whoa!" She stopped for a moment before looking at my face.

I was surprised when she laughed loudly while still pointing at my face.

Why?

"Teh! What's that? Why are your eyebags so big? your eyebags so big?" She laughed at the same time.

"Woke up probably."

Is this fun like this? Even eyebags make fun of me.

When we got to our classroom, there were only a few students there, so Elisa and I talked first.

"What happened yesterday? Your brothers suddenly sent us home." Elisa said it curiously.

"True! I have a feeling that you are going to drive us away." Jane's drama while still holding her chest
