Chapter 31. Lydo's Grave
SHERIFF’S STATION
None of the deputies have been able to get a tip from the locals on Scott's whereabouts. They have been searching everywhere for any sign of him and they haven’t come up with a clue. It’s already 3 AM with no call or radio dispatch call about Scott. Sheriff Bob is already losing his patience. He swears to put him down, by all means, to make sure the late sheriff gets justice.
One of the female deputies walked into the sheriff’s office after a few gentle knocks. “Sir something has come up,” she said.
This is what Sheriff Bob has been waiting to hear all night. He quickly stood to his feet and with curiosity in his face, he asked. “What has come up?”
“They have been a grave robbery and the corpse of a deceased is missing.”
“When did this happen?”
“We just got a call from Bailey Cemetery Service.”
