Chapter 34. The Peace

With what Scott was able to pull out from the surveillance, he traces Kyle back to Amara’s apartment. It was located some miles away from Jasmine’s castle. He tried to call Sasha to tell her of the new developments but his call went straight to voice mail. He also tried to call John and Mr. Smith and it went to voice mail too. “What the hell is going on?” he mutters. He was already some few blocks away from Amara’s apartment.

         After several attempts to reach his team failed, he decided to do this alone. He made his way to Amara’s front door and before he could use the bell, the door flung open on its own. This was a bit shocking to him. He never expected this to happen. ‘How did he know I was coming?’ he asked rhetorically.
