Chapter 11

After almost seven years, Maureen was finally back. Fate seemed to be on her side as a friend came over bringing good news. That friend told her she would help, so Maureen would get Stanley and her daughter back. As planned, they were going to Stanley’s house today.

“Thank you so much, Stace. I really missed Heather. Finally, I’ll meet my daughter again,” Maureen uttered as she placed her palms on her chests.
