Reina's Pov

I felt like the air had been sucked out of the room as I watched Kylian walk away, his shoulders slumped and his expression a mixture of shock and hurt.

As I took a step towards the guest room, I caught a glimpse of Rojas standing on the stairway, a smirk on his face. He had been eavesdropping on my conversation with Kylian. My heart skipped a beat, and I felt a mix of embarrassment and anger. I didn't want Rojas to witness my vulnerable moment with Kylian.

Rojas clapped his hands, and I flinched at the sound, turning to face him. "Well done, Reina," he said with a sly grin. "You handled Kylian perfectly."
