"Yes, Diana," he replied.
"Is there somewhere I can go for privacy?" I inquired. "I'd like to call my mother but don't want to be overheard."
"Is that correct? "You are welcome to use my office as long as you promise not to snoop," he said, smiling. "It's totally soundproof."
"That'll work," I said cheerfully.
"Follow me," he instructed.
I went up two flights of stairs after him. His office was located in the third door on the left. He had a large ornate desk, three book shelves, a couch and coffee table against the back wall, and a bathroom. The walls were mint green, and the furniture was all mahogany.
"You'll probably be more at ease on the couch, but you're welcome to sit at my desk." "Please remember to close the door behind you when you leave," he said.
"I will. "Thank you so much, Alpha," I said with a smile.
"You can call me Viktor," he explained. "Have a good night."
