Side Story 4.70 - A Celebration No One Asked
Jhoanna’s POV
Five days had passed since Johanis’ birthday, and the house had finally settled back into a comfortable rhythm. Most of our guests had returned home, leaving behind fond memories, scattered wrapping paper, and, of course, the infamous “Tavian is my uncle” debate.
Johanis, being the little chaos magnet he was, had been bringing it up at the most inopportune times. Just yesterday, he had asked Hans during training, “Papa, do you think I’ll be stronger than my uncle?” Tavian, who had been watching from the sidelines, gasped in offense and launched a tackle at Johanis. It took both Hans and Rio to separate them.
I was enjoying a peaceful morning, sipping tea while watching my son run around the courtyard with his wooden sword when the front door suddenly slammed open with enough force to rattle the windows.
