Chapter 5. Shocked

“I hope you both know the weight of the risk you are about to take?” Olivia Riley questioned the two brave warriors as she spoke in a dreamy voice.

They both stared at each other for a split second and nodded their heads, signifying their acceptance.

She was not sure what she was doing, but she needed them to be aware of the risk they were embarking on so that they could change their minds if they didn’t feel alright with it.

“The bus would be arriving any minute from now and you’re going back means that we might be leaving without you both. However, the bus will return here by this time tomorrow to pick you both. Are you willing?” She asked as she stared fiercely into their eyes, one by one.

“I am willing.”

“I am willing too.”

They both replied respectively.

Olivia watched them run deep into the woods before walking back into their hideout. Queen was already less sober than before, and she was already smiling while discussing with Davies.
