Chapter 24

We arrived in the city earlier than expected. I exited the carriage first, then helped both Sofia and Jenna out of the carriage.

“Be back here to pick us up in three hours.” I told the driver.

“Yes, my lord.” He smiled then headed off. I looked around at the shops. I did not know where to begin.

“Lord Dragonheart, may I suggest we go to that boutique first?” Sofia offered.

“Any particular reason why?” I asked.

“They are known for making dresses in the style Duchess Gloomblossom likes.” She smiled.

“Then lead the way.” I smiled back. We headed to the boutique. I noticed most of the people walking around were watching us, though trying their hardest to seem like they were not. I expected to turn heads, so I was not surprised in the slightest. We entered the boutique, and I quickly went over to a dress that I liked for Nocturne. It was not a red one, but a white one with golden lace for an accent.
