When Mahlon tried to call Anastasia for the third time and received no response, he became concerned.

His cook informed him later that Miss Angel had not arrived at the penthouse; he became panicked and decided to call her again.

This time, the phone was answered, and a male voice was heard on the other end. Mahlon became enraged, but he chose to remain composed.
