Chapter 20

Lizzy’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes and closed them again as the pain enveloped my body. I was so hungry, and I could not understand why.

Opening my eyes again, I could see that it was a dark room with only a little light coming from the bulb that was placed up the roof.

I didn’t care where I was at that moment. I just needed food, and I was so hungry that if I didn’t eat anything, I might get crazy.

I tried moving only to find out I was in chains, and I couldn’t move. I tried yelling, but only a growl came out of me.

Why am I this way? I asked myself. I tried to remember what had happened. I should have been dead, but what am I doing here? Where was I, and why was I chained up?

I found myself sniffing the air as I could smell something delicious coming my way. I tried rushing to it, but the chains stopped me.

I looked down, seeing I was still putting on the school sports clothes. I slowly moved back to the wall as I noticed the door
