Lizzy’s POV

1 week later.

Well, I think we are heading back to school. Time to get bullied and be laughed at.

Vera kept looking at me as if I needed a savior to save me from her.

Mira was now healthy, but she still didn’t understand why people said she was the one who fought with Vera. I tried letting her know that it was just gossip and that she shouldn’t pay attention to any of the rumors.

I walked into the classroom, and everyone just kept staring at me. I put my head down, not wanting to look at their faces.

“Why do the days have to fly by so fast?” I thought to myself.

I sat waiting for the teacher to come into the classroom so we could start the day. It took about 5 minutes before she walked in. We discussed history as well as a variety of other topics. Then it was when the school trip was mentioned.
