Chapter 23
Lizzy’s POV
I could see confusion on her face as I told her that. I knew she didn’t believe me, but I had to tell her.
I started telling her how I met Liam and what happened with her at school. I also told her about how her memory was wiped out. That was why she wasn’t able to remember the incident that happened at school.
I felt relaxed and happy after finding out my friend now understood the truth. She might have thought I was crazy, but sometimes it was better to sound crazy than to sound stupid without knowing what to say.
I looked back at her as she tried to make sense of all that I just told her. She stared at me as if she was trying to ask if all I said was true.
“The truth is difficult to hear, but you have to believe me when I tell you it is true. It is difficult, but I believe you will soon see that what I’m saying is all true,” I said to her.
