Lizzy’s POV

I can’t believe I have to be in the same group as Vera and her team. What does the teacher think? He’s planning on giving me a death wish.

I rushed toward the teacher and stood in front of him as I breathed a heavy breath before speaking.

“Mr. Tim, I think there is a mix-up somewhere. I was not supposed to be in Team B. Could you please check it once more and let me know to which team I belong?”

He looked at the book that was on his arm. I waited to see what the result would be, and at the core of me, I kept praying it was a mistake.
