Lizzy’s POV

Two days later.

After what had happened, I hadn’t heard of Liam, and for a minute, I felt worried. I didn’t know if I should talk to him and apologize. Mira had already gone home to pack a few things with her, and we promised to meet at school by 9 am.

I felt so guilty for breaking his trust. He liked me, and I could sense it as well. I know I might have broken his heart, but without seeing him for two days now, I felt terrible.

I packed a few things I would need for the camping trip, and I hurriedly rushed outside so I could get to school faster. I stood waiting for a cab, but I couldn’t find one.

Every minute I looked at the creepy house to see if he was standing by the window looking at me.

“Why am I feeling this way?” I asked myself.
