I stared at Ashley, puzzled. I knew that she never liked Hailey and in the past my sister did some of the most awful things, but faking amnesia? It couldn’t be possible.
“What the hell do you mean by that?” I asked, almost scolding her.
“I mean, what do you even think she’s hiding? She was knocked down by some coward who kept driving like a lunatic and she fell into a coma. Luckily for us, she’s alive and safe, and now you’re saying that she’s lying about something?” I asked, almost agitated.
