Since Levi got drunk that night, he seemed to realize he had embarrassed himself. One thing was sure: Levi and I now have a different relationship. After I told him that my relationship with Theo had ended, too, we started to develop a new routine. It was not every day—because that would be extremely weird—but Levi and I started eating together quite often. Sometimes I would join him when he said he wanted to explore Bali further, but when he was busy with work, Levi usually invited me to wine on the balcony, and we would talk for hours.

Our situation was also the first time I’d known Levi as a single guy. When we became neighbors, I was already with Zack. After Zack was gone, our relationship changed, especially after he admitted his feelings. Then, he moved back to Zurich. When he pushed for the second time, I was already with Theo, and not long after, he started dating Marcus.
