Saying goodbye to my renewed friends, I took Drew back to my room, with numerous thoughts in my mind. I waved at the guards who had become used to me and went up the two flights of stairs. Our afternoon outing had made me a little tired, and a short nap could not hurt.

However, upon opening my door, a powerful feminine scent crowded my senses. Someone had been in my room and, from the strength of their scent, they had been there for a long time. What could the person have been looking for? Perhaps they were still in there! Shock first hit me, slowly followed by panic.
