"Just for the record, I remember telling you to stay away from her," Mars quipped unwisely while Fitz was examining my bandages. I glared at him but could not punch him as I intended to do. It would only break the thin skin of my healing wound and piss off Fitz.

In his defense, he had warned me but I didn't want to believe that Red Streaks could actually hurt me. I had hoped that even in her angry wolf state, she would recognize me among others.

I had been ultimately wrong and had earned myself a deep cut for my troubles. Luckily, I was on the mend and Red Streaks was as far away from me as possible.

"Serena is still here, by the way," Mars reminded me, sitting beside my chair. "What should we do about her?"

Serena had shown off her acting skills last night, running to my aid and breaking down into tears right on cue. She had established herself as Luna again and had seen to Venus' imprisonment.
