Chapter 16. Back in the Farm

As they arrived home from the airport late at night, they were both so jetlag that they dozed off in the car, unaware of the turmoil that would beseech them the next day. They did not know amidst the happiness they both shared back on their London trip, something of significance would impact their relationship as a couple.

Allision was comfortably dozing off with her head on his shoulder, using it as a pillow. Although most of his exes would say his shoulder was hard as a rock, as he thought about that, he shook his head, and she fell onto his lap. He saw her face, which was serene and calm. His thoughts were going to the past, and he did not like it. He tried to adjust where his mind was wandering but to no avail. Meanwhile, as he was struggling, unaware of all this since she was in a deep sleep, her dreams were taking her elsewhere. She was in a beautiful meadow full of various flowers. The sun was shining brightly, then suddenly darkness overtook the place, and there was a
