William’s POV

“Nathan, you’re being incredibly selfish. This company belongs to me just as much as it does to you. As a matter of fact, the plan was for me to take over more of the estates after I got married.”

“The terms of the agreement weren’t tied to just your union. You were supposed to prove that you were responsible enough to manage them,” Nathan cut in.

“And I am!” I growled. I was fed up. Nathan saw me as a spoiled boy who couldn’t even take on any responsibilities. “I am responsible. I just… how will you even know what I can or cannot do if nothing is put in my fucking care and left alone? What the fuck do you want me to do then?”
