Chapter 87. NIPCON

Ferdinand’s POV

After my meeting with NIPCON’s rep, I headed back home. When I arrived, Nathan and Ivy were having dinner in the dining area. Kael was with them. He seemed to be in a much better state. Seeing him smile as I walked into the dining area warmed my heart.

“Hello, buddy.”

“Good of you to join us for dinner, Ferdinand. I had started to wonder where you went to.”

I squeezed Kael’s cheeks and then sat down on the table. “I had to run a few errands.”

“Please help yourself to some stew.” Ivy smiled and offered me a bowl.

I smiled back and took it from her. I dropped it in front of my plate and didn’t have any of it. Instead, I reached out and took an apple.

“I need you to set up a meeting with NIPCON tomorrow, Ferdinand. Please do so as soon as possible.”
