For almost a month, everything with Collin and Aubrey was smooth sailing. The two of them never had a disagreement about anything and were really content to be together; nonetheless, Collin decided to meet with Dean regarding his job at the ranch. He was hesitant to leave because of Aubrey and Angela, but he couldn’t bring them with him.

“Just send my regards to Dean,” she said when he talked to her about his plan to visit Dean. “So, when are you leaving?”

“As soon as possible, sweetheart. I need to turn over my job to someone else,” he answered. “Why don’t you come with me? Sabrina will be thrilled to meet you, I’m sure of that.”

Aubrey arched her brows upon hearing another woman’s name and asked, “Sabrina? Who is Sabrina?”

“Dean’s wife,” he answered, and the woman bit her bottom lip when she probably recalled about Sabrina.
