Chapter 145

A few minutes later Jessica was knocking on the door before she pushed it open. "Hi Jessica," Brian says in excitement when he spots the lunch box in her hand. 

"Hello Brian," she said with a smile. "I did not mean to interrupt your meeting. I just wanted to stop this for Xavier but the receptionist insisted that I bring it up myself and there might not be enough food for the both of you" she said. 

"Don't you worry, Brian was just on his way out to eat lunch" Xavier said and then turned to Brian "Isn't that right?" 

"Yeah it is" 

"I know you are very busy and I did not want to take up much of your time but the lady downstairs told me I must deliver it myself so here I am. I will drop this here and be out of your hair" she ranted. 

"It's lunchtime why would anybody be busy?" he asked as he stood up from behind his desk. 

"I thought you were having a meeting with Brian?" she asked as she watched him walk towards her.&n
