Chapter 7

"Would you like some breakfast?" Jessica asked now feeling good. 

It would be a bad thing if she was to be avoiding him. Their being friends could put her mind at ease. 

"I don't eat breakfast," Xavier said sharply. 

"Come on. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" Jessica said kind of playfully. She was carefree and even though her mind was not fully pulled off from Burke she was doing all sorts to distract herself from the fact that she was dumped and married within a day. 

"I don't have breakfast," Xavier said coldly and more sharply than before. 

"I'm a good cook. Remember that I'm a chef" Jessica said convincingly. 

"Drop it," Xavier said and began to walk away. 

"Maybe he doesn't like breakfast" She murmured to herself and shrugged before leaving the room. 

She went back to her room and discovered that the clothes she put out had been taken away. She went back down and made a simp
