Since their childhood, their parents had left them home alone, always focused on business. They had to take care of each other, with no one concerned about their well-being.
Now, there was no one left for her. Her sister, who had been her everything, was gone, and she didn’t have close friends to lean on. Even Everett was in a more miserable condition than she was.
She walked out of the isolated graveyard and headed toward the bus stop. There was a lifeless look in her eyes. She felt as though someone was following her, but when she turned to check, there was no one there. She didn’t react, not like a normal person who might have screamed in such a situation.
She reached the bus stop, but while waiting for the bus, she heard a message notification. She didn’t check the message, seemingly unaffected by anything. It was hard to fathom how someone could be so detached.
