“Do you know what girls like especially depressed girls, and where they want to go?” Adam asked, leaving Adriel completely baffled.

What was Adam inquiring about? When did he start to care about these things? Had he been hit on the head? Was he under some sort of spell? After all, he was already married, so who was he trying to impress? As far as Adriel knew, Faith was not a depressed person.

“Boss… I’m single, and I don’t know anything about girls, not even a single thing. If you’re asking me suddenly, how can I possibly answer you?” Adriel pouted in frustration.

Adam sighed and fell back into contemplation. Adriel took a deep breath and continued, “Boss, you have a meeting. You need to be sharp in your presentation. If you act like this, the board members will be unhappy with you. We can’t afford to upset them since they’re looking for a reason to bring you down,” Adriel offered a reasonable perspective.
