Chapter 13
The sound of Grace’s rampage in her room sent shivers down the spines of some of the servants. They wondered what could have caused her to act this way. Why had she been so aggressive? There were no screams or cries, just the sounds of her smashing and messing up everything in her room out of anger.
Meanwhile, Adam was in his study, engrossed in his documents, when the noise startled him. He jolted at the unexpected disruption, wondering where the careless commotion was coming from. He assumed it was in the kitchen—perhaps someone had broken something there—and he stormed out of his study to investigate. To his surprise, he found all the servants gathered outside Grace’s room, their faces filled with worry.
