Chapter 101
Ayleen followed Murat into the dining room, her crimson frock swaying lightly as she walked. Her hair was tied in a loose bun, a few wisps framing her face. Murat, in a simple gray polo sweater and beige pants, looked effortlessly composed as always.
As they entered, all eyes turned toward them. Ibrahim Khan, seated at the head of the table, rose and placed his hand on their heads, one by one, offering his blessings. “May Allah always keep you both happy,” he said warmly, his smile reaching his eyes.
They took their seats amidst cheerful smiles and chatter. Zohreh, Rania, and Amir, Murat’s cousins, wasted no time making Ayleen their target.
“So, sister-in-law, how does it feel to be officially Mrs. Murat Khan?” Zohreh teased, her eyes gleaming mischievously.
“Tell us everything! Is Murat as scary as he looks, or is he secretly a softie?” Amir added with a grin.
“Enough, all of you!” Chachi interjected, though the smile on her face betrayed her amusement
