Chapter 103

Ayleen’s anxiety grew more and more as they neared the location.

“Begum, will you stop doing that?”

She turned to see that there was complete silence in the car and Murat was staring at her and then at her feet, which she didn’t realize she was tapping in anxiety.

“I am sorry, I have never been to any social event before,” Ayleen said in a meek voice, looking at her fingers and twirling her wedding rings. Mentally preparing herself to hear a word or two of humiliation in him, but what he said next came was as surprising

“Just stay by my side and smile, you will be fine!” He said in a subtle tone, grabbing her hand and entwining their fingers just as the car halted.

The arrival of their car at the venue caused trouble among the photographers as all their cameras were pointed at the limo.

“Let’s go!” Murat muttered and Ayleen took a deep breath as they alighted the car.
