Now, name how much you want,” he briefed blankly, taking out his checkbook from his blazer’s pocket and throwing it straight on her face.
Ayleen felt as if someone had thwarted her whole self from the sky to earth, burying her self-worth somewhere. Her tears halted as she looked at the man who was giving a price to buy and use her.
How could someone be so self-centered?
All the terror she felt earlier crawled back somewhere in her mind as a sneer crawled over her features. With a bolt, she stood up, not caring about her headscarf that fell on the floor.
