Standing before the empty coffin, both Kattie and Jasper fell into silence. Now, Kattie was sure that Jasper was still alive, and the man beside her was not a substitute. Kattie’s eyes welled up with pain. She quickly blinked, and when she reopened them, they were red and teary. However, she couldn’t help but feel joyful because Jasper had truly returned to her side.

She did not know how long she had yearned for this dream, and she hadn’t bothered to count the nights she had cried herself to sleep, missing him and torturing herself.
