Amber POV

I pushed open the heavy metal door and the sight of Leo slumped forward made my chest twist uncomfortably.

He looked up at me, dark circles hanging heavily under his eyes. His face was pale and his lips dry.

He scoffed. “You again. You’ve been coming here quite frequently. Is that how much you can’t let me out of your sight?”

I rolled my eyes at his blatant flirting.

“Tell me about Antonio” I demanded, leaning against the wall.

“I can’t”

I narrowed my eyes. “You don’t have much of a choice, Leo. If you don’t tell me, I can dig into your mind and find out by myself”

He shook his head. “It’s not that I don’t want to, I can’t. None of us know anything about his personal life except that he owns DeLuca holdings which is just a cover for several of his illegal businesses”

I paced slowly in front of him, deep in thought. “Why does he want me and Alex dead?”

“I don’t know. But it seemed like a personal grudge”
