Mia POV

The day started off awfully sunny. I watched the soldiers train their asses off in preparation for the big war.

I told myself that everything would be just fine. The coven was not on my side which meant I had to fight the dark sisters alone. I could not blame them. Though I was their high priestess, I had just taken the position and most of them were yet to accept me, not to mention I was half werewolf.

Taking a heavy breath, I assured myself I was prepared. I threw myself into meditation, brewing potion after potion, reading every book in the library that was centered on spells.

Day by day, I forged myself into a weapon but I wasn’t sure it was enough.
