Elsie POV

I stood before the nightclub which Alex frequented according to his files. I brought out the golden dagger that Antonio had gifted me when I turned eighteen.

Seduce him? I had never had to seduce anyone in my entire life and this would be no different.

I hid the dagger in my coat. I was going to do this the way I know how to.

I stepped into the dimly lit club, pushing through the crowd of bodies grinding against each other.

I headed for the bar, all the while scanning the room for Alex.

“A glass of beer please” I ordered absentmindedly. Frustrated at not finding him, I took a huge gulp, ignoring the burning sensation in my throat.

Casually, I glanced at the far corner of the club and there he was in the lounge area, seated on the couch like a king. A few buttons on his shirt were loosened, his dark hair was tousled.

He looked even more attractive than in the picture.
