I found it odd so I traveled to the capital to find out more. I witnessed the trial firsthand and it was so easy to tell that Lord Christopher was lying; he had killed my father and was going to dump the blame on someone else. I watched as Raya’s face fell when the death sentence was announced. I saw the hunger for vengeance in her eyes and it was there I swore to get revenge for the death of my father.
