Wyndham was dead?

I looked into Lord Christopher’s eyes and his cold gaze confirmed what he had just said.

Wyndham? It was only yesterday that I had received a letter from him telling me how much he had missed home and was looking forward to his surgery which was scheduled for next month. It had also been yesterday I had penned a letter in response to him.
