A muscle ticked in my jaw as I stared at him. A short laugh escaped his lips as he tilted his head back at me.
“Why? You don’t want to come back anymore?” he asked with a narrowed gaze.
From the corner of my eye, Marcus tried to walk closer but stopped midway when I shook my head at him.
I can handle the lunatic. “Just because you came to tell me about my father doesn’t mean I have forgiven you for what you have done,” I said, my eyes throwing daggers at him.
He chuckled silently as he ran his hand through his hair. “What are you still doing here? What is so special about being here?!” he snapped.
“It’s none of your business,” I said through clenched teeth.
“None of my business, huh?” he said, taking a step closer.
“What is so special about the beast…”
“Shut it!” I snapped with a flared nose.
“I won’t stand here and allow you to call him a beast, while your shadow is darker than his, and you know what?
