A sharp gasp escaped the Omega’s lips, the hairs on the back of her neck standing erect as she prepared to run. Her muscles tensed in preparation for the worst, however, just as her instincts urged her to turn around and flee. Instead, she stood completely still, unable to move, unable to think, able to do nothing but wait and stare back unflinchingly at the intruder who dared to come into her home.
