Chapter 178. Reunion
“This may seem bizarre,” Caivan muttered.
“No kidding!” Saelyna snapped, making Caivan wince slightly. She calmed down and went on, “but at least I’ll get to spend a little bit of time living my life. What do you say we move on? If I can’t remember anything, at least I can enjoy what I have now, right?”
“Sure,” replied Caivan with a nod of agreement, “you’re absolutely right. Let’s keep moving forwards. But you’ll have to put aside that bottle for the moment; we’ll need to conserve energy.”
“That’s fine,” Saelyna agreed.
They resumed their journey as fast as they could.
After what felt like hours had passed, they finally stopped in their tracks and took a break; luckily the night hadn’t gotten any colder or worse than it already was; the snow still lay heavy on the ground, and the wind was still blowing harshly against them. However, they didn’t have much time to stop.
While Caivan rested, Saelyna took the opportunity to take a better look at her
