Chapter 27. Trip to Memory Lane

“Hey, eat your breakfast first!” Dad shouted as I picked up one waffle with powdered sugar on it. I had set the alarm for 6 am today, but apparently, it was snoozed off by Dylan. As of now, he was upstairs fixing the bed before coming down for breakfast.
I couldn’t have that delay with me. It was 7:11 in the morning, and I was planning to visit the university at exactly 8 am to catch the dean. Mrs. Reynolds was an early bird, and usually, she only stayed on campus until 10 in the morning. Beyond that, she couldn’t be traced.
It was the first day of compiling my law school requirements. First and foremost, I had to check with my university for those that were readily available for pick-up.
“It’s fine, Dad. I’ll just stop over at a convenience store on my way to the school,” I said and ran towards the fridge to get my tumbler. I didn’t go anywhere without cold water in a tumbler with me. I was always thirsty.
