Chapter 60. Spontaneous Plans

I woke up with a heart filled with hope. That conversation I had with Dylan last night before he fell asleep, that was a good start. I guess. I mean, there’s a lot of things that went wrong with this marriage, but that short conversation last night was a good start. It’s inducing.
When he slept last night, I spent some time just watching him sleep. He looked so peaceful. I cannot tell if he had dreams while sleeping but his face looked calm. I felt that calmness reverberated as I lay down beside him, eyes not looking away from his face.
I placed my hand around his waist and that’s all I remember. I woke up with the same hand placement and he hasn’t woken up yet.
I sat up and yawned. My eyes still felt blurry from the sudden walking up. I looked out the window and saw that it was already a bright morning. I checked my phone first, and there was a good morning text from Dad reminding me again of the family dinner we’d have tonight. I know he won’t stop
