Once again, I found myself beside Andrew in a boring political party.

Andrew, as usual, was deep in conversation with friends. I tried listening at the beginning but as usual, I’d quickly lost interest.

No offense, but I’d rather watch a million episodes of some dumb Real Housewives show than listen to five minutes of political talks.

I know, I know. I’m a CEO of an international company, so knowing about politics is important. Blah, blah, blah…

Listening to them is just boring.

Leaning closer to Andrew, I whispered, “I think I’m going to walk around, grab a drink or something.”

“It will be rude to walk away from our friends. Just stick around for a while, babes. I’ll be done in a bit,” he said in a quick whisper.

Before I could mutter a word, he was back to chatting with his friends.
