I was curled up on the bed scrolling through patient files after getting back from the hangout with the girls very early that morning.

The bedroom door opened and Lucas walked in with that suspiciously calm smile he only wore when he was hiding something exciting.

I narrowed my eyes. “Okay… what did you do?”
