Chapter 29. Meeting Atlas

Lena’s POV

When I opened my eyes, it was already noon. I stretched as I sat up on the bed. I never used to sleep in but I guess the whole stress of taking care of Lucas overnight must have made me really tired and sleep deprived.

Lucas was not in bed as expected. He was probably at work by now. I wondered if he had anything to eat though.

I climbed down from the bed and freshened up in the bathroom before dressing up in a casual outfit. I thought about what to eat for lunch but a sweet aroma hit my nose as I made my way down the stairs.

Following the scent to the kitchen, I met a middle aged woman moving around the kitchen.
