Mason’s POV
Ava froze at my question, her fingers tightened on her fork and at that moment, I got the answer I was looking for: I was right.
She blinked and tried to act composed, “I…I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
I raised an eyebrow and placed my elbow on the table and leaned closer to her. “Come on, Ava. Don’t insult the other person’s intelligence.”
