“I was hoping you would forget and not ask,” she chuckled as she fiddled with her fingers.
“I’m in desperate need of a distraction right now, so start talking.” I turned to her, anticipating what she was going to say.
Raelynn drew a breath. “Mason and I used to date years ago.”
My eyes widened, “You and Mason?”
“Yes.”
She nodded but still hadn’t turned around to look at me. “We met in New York at a party. It was surprising how we just clicked. I didn’t know he was Anderson when I met him. I mean, I knew he was rich, that was pretty obvious. But I didn’t expect him to be a part of the Anderson Family.”
My mouth hung in shock. “How did you find out?”
