“You were before. Not now. Ian is my favorite.” I shook my head with a light chuckle.
“I will come pick you up later,” I mouthed to Rose before making my way out. I fished out my phone and dialed Ian’s number.
“Meet me at the town center,” I said, cutting off the call. I got inside my car, roared the engine to life, and drove away. The drive to the location Ian and I were going to meet was a forty-minute drive. I knew if he reached before me, he’d start disturbing me with calls. So, I set my phone on flight mode. That way, he wouldn’t be able to reach me. I pressed on the accelerator, increasing my speed.
