Evelyn’s POV

“Nolan, WAIT!” I screamed as I saw him angrily grip Griffin by the collar and lift him off the ground. His eyes were ablaze with fury, and he didn’t care that Griffin screamed in pain.

“What the hell were you thinking? Taking my mate and my son from me?” Nolan growled; he looked disgusted at Griffin’s state, weakened and injured. He let go of him harshly, letting him fall to the ground with a thud. Griffin cried out in pain, sending a shiver down my spine.
